About our venues in Bath

Author Talk & Writers’ Showcase venue

Burdall’s Yard is a former brewery and the stone vaults make for wonderful acoustics in an intimate space. The venue is owned by Bath Spa University showcasing work by staff and students from Bath Spa University’s Drama, Acting, Music and Creative Writing staff and students, as well as visiting professional artists. The bar at Burdall’s Yard serves a range of drinks and snacks at student-friendly prices. We partner with Mr B’s Emporium to sell books at our events.
